The Big Recital

Saturday night we attended Olivia's first big dance recital. She'd been taking dance classes after school on Wednesdays since the beginning part of school-- so almost 6 months of classes. Her class is only girls from JK & SK at her school (4-6 year olds).



One of my coworkers asked if Olivia was nervous beforehand, but I don't think she was. She's too little to know that she's suppose to have stage fright. She kept saying about how they got to perform at the HIGH SCHOOL!!!! and on a stage!!!!! and have a pizza party after the dress rehearsal. She also thought it was very cool to wear a little (tiny, tiny bit) of makeup for the recital and have her hair done up with braids and a shiny hair piece.




We celebrated afterwards at Steak N Shake with Mary. She was very excited that Mary brought her flowers. She thought it was so cool that the flowers were just for her--and her favorite colors pink & purple too!
